I'm a native English translator and interpreter based in Valencia, with a degree in Transcultural Communication from the University of Vienna and twelve years' experience working for private clients and translation agencies across Austria, Spain, the UK and Puerto Rico.

Having lived in all of these places and several Latin American countries, I've had the privilege of immersing myself in different cultures, which is what allows me to adapt a variety of styles and tones to land just right with the target audience. Whether it be a marketing campaign, legal contract, medical report or auction catalogue of antique clocks – I take each job just as seriously, no matter how big or small.

I translate only into English, my mother tongue, so the result never reads like a translation. My aim? For your text to sound natural without sacrificing any of its original style or meaning. From first email to final delivery, you work directly with the same person who knows your text inside out.

As for interpreting? As translation slowly became second nature to me, I needed more of a challenge. Frequent informal interpreting tasks motivated me to qualify as a Spanish ↔ English medical interpreter (a field that fascinates me) and I've fallen more in love with the job every day. From medical and social work to general interpreting, I thrive in fast-paced environments that require me to keep a cool head, problem-solve and bring empathy to difficult situations.
